Join Archuleta Democrats at a happy hour and food drive on June 20th at 4 p.m. at Uncle's Bar and Social Club, 56 Talisman Drive. 

Cash donations are especially helpful, because they allow organizations maximum flexibility. Checks should be made out to Healthy Archuleta or Community United Methodist Church (put "food share" in subject line.) 

Community United Methodist Church has a specific wishlist for its Market Style Food Share. Requested items include:

• Personal care items such as soap, shampoo, and deodorant
• Tea bags
• Dish soap
• Laundry sheets
• Trash bags
• First-aid supplies 
• Paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, and facial tissues
• Condiments such as mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise
• Sugar 
• Pet food, especially large bags of dry cat or dog food
• Bags of shredded cheese 
• Single-serving juice boxes 
• Shelf stable snacks 
• Ramen noodles, especially bowls

 All donations will go directly to local organizations. The Archuleta County Democratic Party does not benefit financially from this event.
