Finding child care is a struggle for working families in our community. Even if we don't have small children ourselves, there is a trickle-down effect. Parents can't work without reliable child care, which causes problems for employers and customers. We all benefit when kids have high-quality education in a healthy environment.
Wings Early Childhood Center is working to fill that need in Archuleta County. At our August Dem Club Lunch, the director, Ben Fox, will fill us in on the mission and challenges of Wings.
