Labor Day means it's time to focus on the election and make your plan to vote.
Here are key dates to know:
- Oct. 2: Ballots go in the mail. Start watching for yours.
- Oct. 9: Drop boxes open. We strongly encourage taking your ballot to a drop box rather than mailing it in.
- Oct. 19: In-person voting begins.
- Oct. 26: Last day to submit a voter registration and still receive a mail ballot. You can register as late as Election Day -- but if you register after Oct. 26, you must vote in person.
- Nov. 3: Election Day
