The Archuleta County Elections office has announced the following changes in dropbox and Voter Service and Polling Centers:
Important Changes to Ballot Drop-Off Locations and Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs)
Due to flooding, the ballot drop box located at Town Hall has been closed. Archuleta County has arranged an alternative ballot drop-off location to ensure voters have continued access to ballot services.
Please review the following updated locations and operating hours:
1. NEW MOBILE BALLOT DROP-OFF LOCATION
10 Solomon Drive, Pagosa Springs (Parking lot of Mountain Spirits Liquor and Feather Your Nest)
An Archuleta County vehicle staffed by a bipartisan team of election judges will be on-site with a sealed ballot collection box.
- Monday, November 2, 2026: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
2. TARA COMMUNITY CENTER BALLOT DROP BOX
333 Milton Lane, Arboles
The ballot drop box at TARA Community Center remains available through Election Day until 7:00 p.m.
3. UPDATED VOTER SERVICE AND POLLING CENTER LOCATIONS
NEW LOCATION – Archuleta County Courthouse, 109 Harman Park Drive, Pagosa Springs, CO
The VSPC originally scheduled at the Ross Aragon Community Center has been relocated to the Archuleta County Courthouse.
- Election Day, November 3: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Open Election Day ONLY.
Archuleta County Extension Building, 344 Highway 84
- Election Day, November 3: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Open Election Day ONLY.
Archuleta County Election Office – Main VSPC, 305 Village Drive, Pagosa Springs, CO
- Monday, November 2: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Election Day, November 3: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Voters may drop off their mail ballots or vote in person at this location.
Joint La Plata/Archuleta County VSPC – Pine River Library,395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield, CO
Archuleta County residents may vote in person at this location on Election Day ONLY.

- The Town Hall ballot drop box is CLOSED due to flooding.

- The TARA Community Center ballot drop box remains available until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
