Pagosa Springs saw terrific turnout for the June 14 No Kings protest, one of thousands held nationwide.
The group met at Town Park, walked along our main street past the old courthouse, crossed at the Bell Tower, walked down to First Street, and then crossed and headed back to the park.
Along the way, we got plenty of supportive honks and waves from passing cars. A Trump Train of about 10 pickups passed by, and their reaction wasn't quite so positive. And that's cool. Because we support everyone's right to political expression.
